Panic Shield
Momentum Short
The Panic Shield is a short-side Trend-Following model built to protect when markets break. It targets the market once panic takes hold and a decline turns into a sustained downtrend. It assumes that fear feeds on itself — once selling gains momentum, weakness tends to persist and deepen. It stays short through the fall, riding the trend lower as long as it runs. It is designed to capture extended, panic-driven declines — turning crashes into gains that shield the portfolio.
