Shield
Momentum Short
The Shield is a short-side Trend-Following model built to protect when the long-term trend breaks. It targets the market once panic is about to take hold and a decline turns into a sustained downtrend. It assumes that fear feeds on itself — once selling gains momentum, weakness tends to persist and deepen. It stays short through the fall, riding the trend lower as long as it runs. It is designed to be positioned before extended, panic-driven declines are realized — turning crashes into gains that shield the portfolio.
